Performative lectures that captivate from the first word!
Doctor Anna focuses on performative lectures in order to set away from the conventional teaching of science, to grip the audience from the first word by weaving science with emotions ranging from laughter to chock.
She achieves this with a strong presence and with unique collaborations with musicians, light, or video artists, and dancers.
You will get science presented in a way you have never experienced before!
Of course, more conventional lectures are also offered, particularly focusing on engaging a public that normally would not be interested in the scientific topics, but also on well-seasoned audiences on topics of equality and the role of women in STEM.
Unconventional science communication – bringing science to unexpected places
Doctor Anna was a keynote speaker at the 3rd International Body Suspension Symposium: The Biology of Pain – a Love Story
This was a lecture in a series with the aim of bringing science to unexpected places and to new audiences. Further lectures in this series will be done in collaboration with the opera singer, Joa Helgesson, and other musicians and performers such as Santa Sangre Body Rituals, in order to investigate pain from different perspectives. Unconventional science communication that leaves no one cold.
Science is not separated from the arts, and the arts not separated from science.
It all happens around us at this exact moment.
